The new Visual Control Tower at Dublin Airport is almost 90m in height and is one of Ireland’s tallest occupied structures. When it was being designed, a key part of the brief was to create an elegant, modern structure worthy of the prominent place it would occupy on the Dublin skyline. That goal was certainly achieved when it was recently awarded Commercial Building of the Year at the Building & Architect of the Year Awards 2021.
