The world famous St James Gate Brewery was founded in the heart of Dublin in 1759 and exports around the world. At one stage it was the worlds largest brewery and the plant itself can produce in the region of 1 billion pints a year.
Project Requirements
Rockbrook have been the control system solutions provider of choice for the automated production process at Guinness for almost 20 years and have a continuous onsite support and project execution role. In that time we have designed and implemented a number of key optimisation projects.
Solution
We have fully implemented a migration and lifecycle upgrade site wide of 26000+ IO DCS production control system. Upgraded the automation controls to improve the process and increase the plant capacity.
